The Lantech Q-300XT is a low profile simple automatic stretch wrapping system designed with the needs of, small to medium sized businesses in mind. This versatile general purpose stretch wrapper will cut and clamp the film automatically and is suitable to wrap a wide variety of uniform and irregular shaped loads. Pallets are normally loaded onto the turntable by fork , allowing the driver to initiate the cycle by remote lanyard, hence staying on the fork truck eliminating any chance of injury.
The Q-300XT is not the least expensive product in its class, but is still very reasonably priced. Nevertheless Lantech asserts that they offer the lowest cost of ownership in the industry! They have taken the broader view that advanced design features incorporated into their superior engineered stretch wrapper’s will provide the lowest cost of ownership overtime. Performance
The Q-300XT offers very respectable performance with a peak production speed of 30-40 loads an hour. The unit can accommodate loads up to 72” in diagonal, 80” high and weighing up to 4000 pounds. Larger capacity turntables for oversize loads are available options. The units DC motor gives higher torque at low speeds while using less energy. The Q-300XT variable force film delivery system is capable of stretching the film up to 250% for additional film savings.
Upgrades
The Q-300XT offers a wide array of upgrade options allowing the unit to continue to meet the evolving needs of your business as it grows.
- Pallet Grip a unique roping device, which ropes the bottom of the film web to create a roping or strapping effect, securing unstable loads to the pallet.
- Turntable capacity upgrade to 5,000 pounds
- Additional wrap height capacity allows loads up to 110” tall.
- Load scale package combines wrapping and weighing all at the same station.
- Turntable base extension extends the wrapping capacity to handle larger loads. A 5 ½ “ extension allows for a 84” diagonal load, while the 11” extension can handle up 94” diagonal loads.

Uptime
Lantech’s design strategy was geared to the simple premise, downtime costs money. To that effect they have eliminated the major sources of maintenance. No preventative maintenance is required on the Q-300XT roll carriage and turntable because they are belt driven. The reason is, belts do not stretch over time as do chains nor do they require lubrication. The unit’s sealed for life bearings also require absolutely no maintenance as opposed to competitor machines using urethane casters. Additionally, the E-Z Thread Roll Carriage is welded to the frame, an improvement over bolted units which loosen over time resulting in pre-stretch loss.

Lantech engineers strove to create an easy to use product. The end result is Lantech’s stretch wrapping system micro-controller. It’s easy to use and intuitive interface results in faster operator training. Additionally the Q-300XT comes with Lantech’s Intelli-Sensor providing automatic load height sensing for ease of use.

The unit’s 65” diameter turntable will prevent potential operator pinch points on standard 40’ x 48’ pallets. Additionally the position of the roll carriage on the controls side allows the operator easy access for film changes. All components are enclosed in a structural steel mast. ABS panels are provided easy maintenance access.
